Almost a year ago I bought a book online by Henry Carroll. It’s called Read This If You Want to Take Great Photographs and has been a big help to me.
I have been able to develop skills on both artistic and technical levels through reading this book because the author covers everything you need to know about taking photos, while saying it all in a way that makes it easy to understand.
The five main headings covered in the book are composition, exposure, light, lenses, and seeing.
Each of these main headings then contain many sub-headings that talk about all the helpful things (shutter speeds, ISO, framing, etc.).
I’d recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to take good photographs!
