Test Photos

I took some photos yesterday as practice for this project.

I know that I want to take some urban portraiture photos so I ceased the opportunity to get some practice shots while meeting a friend who came home from university for the weekend.

Here are a couple of the photographs that I edited in VSCO Cam and Instagram on my phone.

The camera I used to take these shots was a Canon 650D. I used a wide aperture to get a shallow depth of field on the first photograph.

Both of these photos are actually candid; the subject was not posing.

I feel the black & white effect really helps with the urban theme.
